District Diversity Committee

The Annandale District Diversity Committee is made up of community members, parents, and district staff. The committee's purpose is:

• To endorse, support, and/or recommend school programs/policy;
• To endorse, promote, and encourage local stakeholders to support programs that value uniqueness and diversity;
• To promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of differences; and
• To stimulate discussion about diversity, fostering community involvement, encouraging tolerance, and preparing students to be members of the global community        

The committee meets 3 - 4 times per year.
