Drama

We offer many opportunities for students to be invovled in Drama at AHS.  For extra-curricular, we have competitive One Act Play and an annual Full-Length Play. For credit, we have the elective class Acting for Everyone.

One Act Play has auditions in December each year.  Rehearsals start before winter break and continue through January.  Competitions are on Saturdays, starting in late January and continuing through early February.  Students should watch the announcements for specific audition information.

Full-Length Plays rotate on an annual basis between musical and non-musical shows.  For the 2012-2013 school year, it will be a non-musical show.  This year's production will take place in November.  Auditions will be in mid-September and rehearsals will follow.  Again, students should watch the announcements for specific details.
