Student Council can be thought of as "The Voice of the School." What we do is try to make the school a better place by making fellow students' suggestions come alive. We believe that at AHS, leadership should be open to anyone and everyone who seeks it, so any student from grades 9-12 is free to join at any time! Any student that joins will be sure to have loads of fun, because it's always more fun being behind the scenes of things and watching some our events such as homecoming and snow week come alive!

Executive Council

The Executive Council is a group of students elected by fellow student council members to lead the council. These people are also responsible for asking the student body what they want, so if you have any suggestions or questions, come find the student from your grade level in the executive council. Members are as follows:

Public Student Council Updates

Student Council wants the students of the school to be as informed as possible as to what's going on behind the scenes. Because of this, Student Council has added a special Moodle course that's open to everyone! That means you can check back each week and student Council will post updates on what we're planning and what was discussed at our previous meetings.

Suggestion Box

Student Council has recently opened up a forum so students may anonymously give suggestions for topics we bring up at our meetings. The forum will be totally private unless you choose to give out your name.
